Ham Kal Banate Hai
A voluntary organization setup by Ritesh K Sharma, an advocate by profession & a Socio-Eco activist at heart. Unlike other voluntary organizations Mai Bharat and Mitra Foundation are more than just being a conventional propagator. We often take the lead to venture into most difficult locations with an aim to execute the most creative form of action to make the initiatives a visual testimony to the world at large.
It not only highlights the area with creation of sustainable livelihood for inhabitants but also inspires others to take the initiative further to other locations.
Sometimes adversity is the perfect catalyst to invent what was unforeseeable in normal circumstances.
The varied conditions of people in rural India gave birth to ‘Legal Mitra’ movement in the beginning. Prompted by a bunch of Like minded people from varied fields like law, engineering, management and IT, a platform was created for the masses especially tribal and rural population with an aim to bridge the ever widening gap between the urban & rural India.
The journey that began in 2007 has gone a long way in terms of efforts but has truly created wealth for the nation. Beginning from law and policy advocacy near Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, today it has extended to four states with extensive coverage in Rajasthan positively impacting lacs of lives.
We started with collecting eyewitness reports & information and mapped such relevant information onto a legal mitra platform for everyone to see with an objective to bridge the corporate and philanthropists who could bring in the desired changes in local communities. The information so collected was properly condensed, research and surveys conducted and then forwarded to relevant departments of the Government for appropriate action.
The platform, Legal Mitra which means “friend at law”– was formalized into Mitra Foundation with a new avenue, a new meaning “friend at large” & “Mai Bharat” propagating the idea of ‘One Policy, One Thought, One Nation’ throughout INDIA.
